SONIC has come a long way of high performance boating and offers a wide range of 11 hulls from 26 to 45 ft., diesel or gas, including high performance, center consoles and Cat hulls for a fast reliable boating experience. As you would expect from SONIC, these boats will be built to the highest standards, using the latest construction methods. All SONIC hulls are resin infused to insure light weight and strong hulls that will optimize the engine power offering better fuel consumption, speed and overall handling. A performance that has been proven over and over again for nearly two decades.

All of SONIC's boats, since 1976 have been created, designed, tested and built under the supervision of J. Ross. He has continually combined an optimal blend of "scalding" top performance, a ride that can only be described as spectacular and up to the minute aesthetics and amenities that actually work in the performance powerboat environment. Our boats are world reknown as being top performers... but rock solid. In 2007 SONIC has been attending Poker runs all over the country with the 42 and in 2008 with the 45 and 38. SONIC USA has never had a structural hull failure or integrity warranty claim and all of us at our 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Hollywood, Florida have a personal commitment to assure that you will be problem free with your new SONIC USA, and have many years of enjoyable boating.

 

 

SONIC has commissioned John Cosker as a specialist in stepped hull design for production powerboats. He used to work with some of the icons in the high performance boating world including Fabio Bussi and Tom Gentry. His claim to fame includes the Callan race boat and boats running more than 225 mph. To match the paint and upholstery and to get a unique outstanding look that will distinguish the SONIC just to you, each SONIC will be semi custom built. SONIC features custom and standard paint jobs by EFX Graphics, the latest monster gauges by Livorsi Marine, upholstery designed by Fineline, interiors with softer fabrics and accessories available to match the customers specifications. Chris Dilling from EFX Graphics, to be known as probably the top graphic artist in high performance boating world is working with the clients  on non standard paint jobs.

 

 

To offer a versatile high performance hull which can be used for fishing, diving or cruising SONIC incorporated a proven center console hull into the SONIC line up. In 2005 CSI Group acquired the tooling and marketing rights for the SONIC brand of high performance boats and joined it with its Mares line of exceptional high performance powercats, offshore center consoles and fishing boats to form a new division, CSI Marine. SONIC offers the center consoles in two versions; Sport Cuddy with a small cabin in the bow and Sport Open. The Sport Open is also available as Sportfish. The Sport version is more for the customer that wants to cruise and use the great versatility of an open boat. The Sportfish is rigged for the customer that really wants a fast fishing machine.

 

 

The high performance center consoles not only look good but will perform in the most challenging sea conditions and will give speed when needed. These center consoles are well known by the US government to be fast, rough water boats. They have been proven over and over again by the US Border Patrol and are still a favourite of the personnel that use them.

 

 

SONIC has listened to its customers looking to go faster with reliable power. Now at last SONIC will be offering a step bottom. This will be unveiled at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show. Committed to the eropean market SONIC offers specifically designed models, being fast, economical and conform to european noise requirements. All the SONIC line up is being CE certified.
